Fall Middle School Volleyball at the Statesville Recreation & Parks Department
Calling all middle school volleyball enthusiasts in Grades 6th - 8th! The Statesville Recreation and Parks Department is ready to set the court ablaze with excitement and enthusiasm.
Our volunteer-coached recreational volleyball league is designed to prioritize fun and active participation, ensuring that every child gets a chance to learn the sport and develop essential life skills. We believe in fostering a positive and supportive environment, where kids can build their confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Youth Recreation Volleyball (Grades Rising 6th-8th)
As a league, we are dedicated to providing our volunteer coaches with all the necessary tools for a successful season. From drills and practice times to fully equipped facilities and coaching techniques, we empower our coaches to guide their teams effectively. Moreover, every game has a paid official to officiate the competition, ensuring fair play and a well-organized sporting experience.
League Information:
Ages: Rising 6th - 8th Graders
Registration Opens: Monday, August 12, 2024
Registration Closes: Sunday, August 26, 2024
Leagues offered: U14 (Player cannot turn 14 before January 1, 2025) Age Cut off: December 31, 2024 (Player can play in the age group they are on December 31, 2024)
Practices will begin Monday, September 9, 2024
Games begin weekend of Friday, September 20, 2024
Registration Fee: $70
