Fall Youth Volleyball at the Statesville Recreation & Parks Department

Calling all young volleyball enthusiasts in Grades 2nd to 6th! The Youth Recreation Volleyball program at the Statesville Recreation and Parks Department is ready to set the court ablaze with excitement and enthusiasm. Our volunteer-coached recreational volleyball league is designed to prioritize fun and active participation, ensuring that every child gets a chance to learn the sport and develop essential life skills. We believe in fostering a positive and supportive environment, where kids can build their confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Youth Recreation Volleyball (Grades Rising 2nd-6th)

As a league, we are dedicated to providing our volunteer coaches with all the necessary tools for a successful season. From drills and practice times to fully-equipped facilities and coaching techniques, we empower our coaches to guide their teams effectively. Moreover, every game has a paid official to officiate the competition, ensuring fair play and a well-organized sporting experience.

League Information:

JV Volleyball: Rising 2nd - 4th Graders

Varsity: Rising 5th & 6th Graders

Registration Opens: Wednesday, May 1, 2024

Registration Closes: Monday, July 1, 2024

Practices begin August 5, 2024.

Games begin September 7, 2024.

The City of Statesville Recreation and Parks Department created the HUB System to partner with local Elementary School Athletic Associations to ensure consistency, inclusion, oversight, and transparency in youth athletics. The HUB system aids the Recreation & Parks Department by simplifying the registration process while also giving each organization a voice in improving our youth sports programs.
