Winter Youth Basketball at Statesville Recreation & Parks Department
Basketball at Statesville Recreation & Parks Department is not just about shooting hoops—it's about fostering growth, teamwork, and a love for sports. By signing up your elementary school child for basketball, you're giving them the chance to build a strong foundation, develop crucial life skills, and forge friendships that will last a lifetime. From boosting their confidence to instilling healthy habits, the benefits extend far beyond the court. So, if you're looking for an enriching and exciting activity for your child, don't hesitate—take that leap and watch your child's dreams and skills soar to new heights through the magic of basketball.
Our leagues are focused on fun and participation, as we work hard to ensure the experience is professional and organized, providing an opportunity for all participants to learn the sport and develop life skills.
We provide volunteer coaches with drills, practices times, practice facilities and coaching techniques that can help them with their teams. Each game has a paid official to officiate the competition.
