Spring Youth Softball Registration at the Statesville Recreation & Parks Department
Calling all young softball enthusiasts aged 6 to 12! Our Youth Recreation Softball league promises a fantastic opportunity to discover and develop your softball skills while having a blast on the field. With age-specific divisions including 8U, 10U, and 12U, our program is tailored to suit every player's age and expertise. Similar to our soccer leagues, our softball program is also volunteer-coached and committed to creating a positive and supportive atmosphere.
We equip our coaches with essential tools, such as drills and practice facilities, to empower them to nurture their teams effectively. Additionally, each game is officiated by a paid official to ensure fair play and a well-organized experience.
Youth Recreation Softball (Ages 6-12):
League Information: NSA Sanctioned
8U – Coach Pitch (Ages 6-8 Years Old) - 35 feet pitching distance
10U – Modified Kid Pitch (Ages 9-10 Years Old) - 35 feet pitching distance
12U – Kid Pitch (Ages 11-12 Years Old) - 40 feet pitching distance
Registration Opens: December 1, 2024
Registration Closes: February 1, 2025
Practices begin mid-February 2025
Games begin the first weekend in March 2025.

The City of Statesville Recreation and Parks Department created the HUB System to partner with local Elementary School Athletic Associations to ensure consistency, inclusion, oversight, and transparency in youth athletics. The HUB system aids the Recreation & Parks Department by simplifying the registration process while also giving each organization a voice in improving our youth sports programs.
