The Statesville Park and Soccer Complex totals 70 acres and features 7 pristine regulation soccer fields, 2 of which are lighted. The complex is the host site for the North Carolina State Cup soccer tournament held every year in May. Children are welcome to run and play on the 2 playgrounds located in the park, one of which is fully ADA compliant. Other amenities at the complex include 3 picnic shelters, a beach volleyball court and an 18-hole disc golf course. Are you looking to get some exercise? The Statesville Park and Soccer Complex also offers 2 miles of paved walking trail providing access to the greenway. Dogs are permitted in the park and on the trails on a leash. There is also a mountain bike trail located adjacent to the Park and Soccer Complex and features 3 miles of great single track.
Shelter reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis and are strongly encouraged before using a shelter and can be made up to a year in advance. The cost to reserve a shelter is $15 an hour and payment in full is required with 24 hours to confirm your reservation. Soccer field reservation will be accepted prior to the week you need a field for $15 an hour; with an additional $20 an hour for lights if needed.
