The Statesville, NC Leisure Pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend and is currently CLOSED for the 2023 season.

2024 Hours of Operation

2024 DAYS OF OPERATION:

May 25 - August 4, 2024: Pool Open 7 Days a Week

August 5 - 9, 2024: Pool Open Late Swim Session ONLY

August 10 - September 2, 2024: Weekends Only & Labor Day

Saturday

  • Early Swim Session: 11:00am to 3:00pm
  • Late Swim Session: 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Sunday

  • One session: 2:00pm to 6:00pm

**Each session has a maximum of 300 patrons.

**Entry is first come, first serve.

General Admission Fees Per Session

Under 12 months – Free

Ages 1 and up - $7.00/person

Pool admission fees are included in Annual Memberships to the Statesville Fitness and Activity Center

General Guidelines
  • Children 12 years old or younger must always be supervised by a parent or responsible guardian 16 years or older.
  • Patrons are not permitted to bring food or drinks into the pool. The City of Statesville Recreation and Parks Department reserves the right to inspect baggage or carry in parcels.
  • Swim Diapers are required for all children who have not yet been toilet trained. Swim diapers are available for purchase.
  • No glass containers in or around the pool.
  • No running, rough play, or diving anywhere in the park.
  • Appropriate swimwear required. No thong suits allowed. Cut-off jeans, swimming suits with buckles or rivets and other metal or sharp objects are not allowed.
  • Only US Coast Guard approved life jackets and floatation devices allowed through Admission. A limited number of free life jackets are available for your use on the lazy river.
  • Patrons 48” and smaller must wear a life jacket to ride on the lazy river.
  • No one under 48” tall will be allowed on either of the two big water slides.
Concession Stand
Concessions are available at the Statesville Leisure Pool as follows:
  • Chips
  • Ice Cream
  • Crackers
  • Honey Buns
  • Drinks

For $16.50, pizza can also be ordered at the beginning of each session ( includes either a large cheese or pepperoni pizza and 4 drinks).

Cash or credit card are accepted.

Refund and Rain Policies
  • All Admission Sales are Final.
  • Statesville Leisure Pool will only honor Statesville Fitness and Activity Center Annual Members, Birthday Party Passes, and Rain Checks from the current season.
  • In the event of inclement weather Statesville Leisure Pool may close. Re-opening of the pool is at the discretion of the pool management. If the pool closes for more than one continuous hour and you have been at the pool for less than two hours, you may get a copy of your receipt initialed and use as a rain check for another day at no charge during the current season. If you choose to leave during our closing time and we re-open within the hour, your receipt will not be valid for free admittance at another time.
Birthday Parties

Celebrate your special day with a splash at the Statesville Leisure Pool! Our Birthday Party Package, priced at just $150.00, offers an unforgettable experience for up to 10 guests of your choice.

The package includes admission to the pool and an exclusive four-hour session in one of our vibrant Party Huts. To add sweetness to the celebration, we allow ONLY birthday cakes, cupcakes, and cookie cakes to be brought into the pool. Please note that all other guests entering the pool must pay the regular admissions fee. To secure your preferred date, full payment is required, and while refunds are not available, we offer the flexibility to reschedule to another available date or time.

Alternatively, you can keep the party spirit alive by placing the amount on your Statesville Recreation & Parks Department (SRPD) account for use in other exciting activities within SRPD.

Party Hut Session Hours

       Monday- Saturday

  • Early Swim Session: 11:00am - 3:00pm
  • Late Swim Session: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Sunday One Session: 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Exclusive Rentals

  • Admission includes up to 250 guests.
  • No outside food or drinks allowed - Concessions available upon request.
  • 1/2 payment (non-refundable) required to hold date with balance due 14 days before scheduled party.
  • No Exclusive Rentals during already scheduled open sessions.
  • Price Structure: $1,000 (4-hour late swim session)

Group/Camp Admission

  • Hours: Mon - Fri from 9a - 11a
  • $5 per person
  • Group/Camp Rates only apply during Group/Camp designated hours.
  • Group/Camp session has a maximum capacity of 250 patrons.
