The City of Statesville is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves and help clean up their community at the Spring Trash Bash! This event, held in conjunction with the NCDOT Litter Sweep, is part of North Carolina’s biannual roadside litter removal initiative. The Spring Trash Bash will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, offering an opportunity for residents to make a visible difference in their city.
Event Details:
The City of Statesville will provide gloves, safety vests, and trash bags for all participants.
Volunteers must sign a waiver prior to participation.
The event is open to children ages 12 and up and adults, and we encourage individuals, families, civic groups, school organizations, and local businesses to take part.
Registration & Appreciation Cookout
Participants will register online (see form below). Each volunteer will receive a wristband, which will grant them access to a special appreciation cookout hosted by the Statesville Recreation Center (1875 Simonton Rd) from 12p – 1:30p Volunteers can enjoy hotdogs and hamburgers as a thank you for their service.
