Local Artisans:

Juried Row
Presented by Mooresville Arts. The section features a curated selection of up to 15 Artists in a cohesive, gallery-style environment. Learn more about the selected Artists for Juried Row here.
Live Art Demonstrations
Watch artists bring their work to life with demonstrations happening throughout the day, including pottery thrown on the wheel, painting, and more.
Kids Activities:
Bring the whole family! Interactive art activities and creative experiences will keep young artists inspired and entertained throughout the day.
Workshops & Demonstrations:
Demonstrations will be located under the shelter with Artists Escape (Maker Space Vendor - also kid friendly, near the Kids Zone)
Live Chalk Artist:
Sheree is a Kannapolis-based artist whose work is rooted in connection, bringing people, stories, and communities together through visual expression. Her current focus is on large-scale chalk art and wall murals that invite interaction and spark conversation through art that speaks across all backgrounds. At the heart of her work is the belief that we are all connected.
Food Vendors:
Enjoy a variety of delicious offerings from local food vendors, with something to satisfy every palate.
Live Music:

This beloved summer event transforms Martin Luther King Jr. Park (911 Lakewood Drive) into a vibrant outdoor gallery filled with local art, live music, great food, and community spirit. We welcome painters, potters, jewelers, fiber artists, woodworkers, photographers, and all creative makers to apply!
Art in the Park is Expanding in 2026: Two Artist Opportunities & New Cash Awards. We’re expanding opportunities this year with two distinct ways to participate:
1️⃣ Artisan Market For artists selling original, handmade work in a high-traffic festival setting.
2️⃣ Mooresville Arts Juried Art Row A curated section featuring up to 15 selected artists in a cohesive, gallery-style environment.
