There’s nothing quite like Dog Day at the Pool! Each year, our four-legged friends take over the Statesville Leisure Pool for an end-of-summer splash filled with wagging tails, playful paddles, and plenty of smiles. From first-time swimmers to seasoned splashers, pups of all shapes and sizes enjoy this unique chance to dive in and cool off before the pool closes for the season.

🐾 Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 11a-2p 🐾 $5 per dog (Cash or Card) 🐾 Proof of current rabies vaccination is required 🐾 No more than 2 dogs per person 🐾 Aggressive dogs/dogs in heat will not be allowed 🐾 Clean up after your dog (bags provided) | 🐾 No prong, choke, or training collars 🐾 Drinking water for dogs will be provided 🐾 Humans not allowed in water at any time 🐾 Pet supervisor must be 18 or older 🐾 Dog toys will not be allowed to help prevent any conflict between other dogs |
